I look for the inspiration where others may not see it... reptiles, scorpions, crabs, marine creatures, or praying mantis. Anything that is rich in form and texture. Then I simplify the form itself and try to create an illusion of movement by repeating and interlocking the final design.

I have an "old skool" university education where I could only use pencils, chalks or brushes to create my art. I still prefer doing it this way. Hence, all my work is done by hand without the use of a computer. Since I cut out my own stencils the chosen design can be painted on an individual t-shirt by hand as well as silk screened for bigger orders.
